About us
QM Advisory builds on decades of experience in non-profit and education fields. We view every client engagement as a unique opportunity to help. Every organization, a collection of human beings trying to do something greater than themselves, succeeds in great ways and can be better in so many other ways. Taking a realistic look at themselves, engaging a broader range of their constituents, will lead to advanced fundraising, sustainability and program delivery.
At QM Advisory, we believe relationships are the key to success. We will put our experience, expertise, and passion to work for you, helping your organization to build partnerships that will lead to the achievement of your vision and mission.

Our Tenets
Gratitude
At the center of all that we do, the gratitude/reciprocity loop, defines our work. Missions are expressions of gratitude for the opportunity to serve, and philanthropy is the reciprocal act of appreciation for service to the mission.
Narrative
We believe in the power of story. Every individual and every organization has a story. Finding the intersection of stories requires sincere engagement and active listening. When found, the intersection is where philanthropy happens.
Help
Nothing can be accomplished alone. Everyone is called to help, especially leaders. The most enlightened leaders, with humility, bring out the best in those they serve.
Thresholds
We know thresholds are the in-between or liminal times when something starts or begins to change. They should be recognized as opportunities where teachings are available, and creativity emerges.
What our clients are saying
"Karen displayed the highest levels of expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail. Her interpersonal skills led to a very pleasant and collaborative working environment. The final products of the engagements were understandable, concise, and practical. At the BCS, we continue to refer to the documents in the normal course of our operations. We look forward to working with QM Advisory Services in the future and could not recommend the firm’s work more highly."

"We asked QM Advisory to work with our physicians, nurses, and other patient-facing staff to understand our role in philanthropy. Their visit sparked a sea change in how we think about fundraising, embracing the “gratitude/reciprocity loop” philosophy. It allowed our providers and staff to become more comfortable participating in development, and this change has paid dividends throughout our organization. We have seen tangible results: more money coming in to support our missions, and far more of our people comfortable with development and their roles therein."

I am delighted with the efforts Brian and Karen put into the readiness assessment they provided the Catholic Labor Network. Not only were they a joy to work with, but they also brought incisive inquiry and years of expertise to the task. They provided a readable, concrete report that offered a frank assessment of CLN and the landscape in which it works, along with a set of compelling recommendations that built on that foundation and indicated a clear understanding of and deep commitment to the work of CLN. The CLN now has an actionable road map for moving forward.
